Hey everyone. I think I’ve just found my one-stop shop for boyfriend and dad gifts!
I recently discovered Bespoke Post while doing a bunch of research on men’s lifestyle brands worth buying as gifts. Let me tell ya, I have found SO many cool things to buy on Bespoke Post for even my pickiest friends/family members. Yeah, those people in your life who either want nothing or you literally have no idea what to get them at all!
Bespoke Post is all about helping its members discover new goods and independent brands that they probably wouldn’t have found on their own. Founded in 2011, Bespoke Post has grown over the years to offer hundreds of unique boxes, each tailored to a specific lifestyle or interest.
In this review, we’ll explore what exactly Bespoke Post has to offer, how it works, and our overall opinion of the service!
I received courtesy product from Bespoke Post in order to do this review. You’ll get nothing but honest thoughts here! All opinions expressed here are my own. What Is Bespoke Post?
Bespoke Post is a monthly subscription box service that delivers curated boxes of high-quality, unique, and often hard-to-find products made by small businesses to subscribers.
The founders Rishi and Steve said it best themselves: “Our goal’s the same: to cut through the noise so you don’t have to, seek out products with heart and soul, and guide you to lead a more discerning life. Or at least just make you smell really good.”
The boxes are themed around different lifestyle interests, such as grooming, home goods, kitchenware and barware, fitness, and outdoor gear, and are designed to help customers discover new products and emerging brands.
Subscribers also have the ability to purchase individual boxes or items from the Bespoke Post online shop.

How Does The Bespoke Post Subscription Work?
With a Bespoke Post subscription, every month, members will receive an email with a selection of newly-released themed boxes to choose from. They can range from self-care sets, shaving sets, shoe shine kits, tasting kits, home bar essentials, and more.
Each box contains a curated selection of products centered around a specific story or theme, such as grooming, home goods, and outdoor gear, or elevating your barware, learning a new hobby, etc.
The collection of boxes is updated on the 1st of every month. Once the new boxes come out, subscribers are assigned a box based on their quiz preferences. They can choose to receive the one that was assigned to get, swap for another one of the featured boxes, skip the month, or make a purchase from the Bespoke Post shop instead.
Members have until the 5th of the month to review their selection, customize styles and colors, swap into another box, or skip the month altogether.
The items included in the box are often unique or harder-to-find, and are designed to help subscribers discover new products and brands. The value of the items in the box is typically more than the cost of the subscription.
It’s worth noting that members can also choose not to receive a box and opt to skip the month or use their credit towards buying an item from the shop.
You can read more about how the membership works here.
How Much Does Bespoke Post Cost?
For members, each selected box is $49 each month. For non-members, each box is $70.
Bespoke Post also offers upgrades or premium-priced boxes, but those prices will be clearly marked on the site.
If you’re interested in more than one item, you can choose multiple boxes per month–no limit. You’ll just pay $49 (or $70 for non-members) for each of the boxes you select.
At the time of writing, standard shipping is $4.95 to the lower 48 states, and all orders over $95 qualify for free shipping. There is an additional $10 charge for all shipments to Hawaii, Alaska and Canada.
Bespoke Post Previous Boxes
Here comes the fun part–getting a glimpse at the kind of stuff actually sold and offered on the site!
At any given time, you can see what items or boxes Bespoke Post is offering in the current month. This is what I love about Bespoke Post because they are not like other subscription box brands that try to hide the exact product offerings until after you provide your credit card information!
Being able to see exactly what I can get on the site means I can more purposefully pick out the products that I think my gift recipients will really love.
Additionally, I feel so much more confident knowing that my money is going to a high-quality product that my partner (or any other gift recipient for that matter) will own, love, and cherish for years to come.
Here’s a sample of some of the boxes offered at the time of writing:
- Scorch: A hot sauce lineup for every kind of spice lover. 6 bottles are included, all from small businesses!
- Weekender: An heirloom-level carryall by Line Of Trade.
- Flip: A gorgeous folding knife made of Damascus steel by Rill Simple Tools.
And here are a few from their archives–boxes that were offered in the past but are no longer available:
- Shine: Keep the sun in check and look good doing it with a pair of sleek sunglasses by Raen.
- Toast: Good Cigar Co. Cigars to celebrate the good times.
As you can see, almost everything they’ve ever featured is useful and functional. I’m not a fan of gifts that sit on your desk and just exist to be glanced at every once in a while, so Bespoke Post really delivers the good stuff that I can appreciate.
Bespoke Post Unboxing Experience
I liked the idea of choosing gifts that could be used every single day as opposed to gifts that could only be enjoyed seasonally or occasionally (such as pocket knives and weekender bags)–and Bespoke post had a bunch of both gift types in stock while I was browsing!
The boxes that I ended up choosing for my partner were the following:
- Purified – A self-cleaning water bottle and scented sanitizer.
- Agile – A smart jump rope for at-home workouts.
Purified
Inside this themed box were three items in total:
- ASOBU UV Water Bottle – Retail Value: $55
- Noshinku Refillable Pocket Hand Sanitizer x 2 – Retail Value: $9 each
- Total Retail Value: $73
At first, you might be thinking “oh yeah just another water bottle, whatever”. I know, I would be too. But this isn’t just any regular old water bottle!
The fact that this bottle had a UV cap meant we could get purified water wherever we go. To activate the purification process, you simply press the button on the lid and the UV light will purify your water in less than 5 minutes.
Best of all, the interior remains free from contamination and microscopic microbes. WIN!
Paired alongside the bottle were two very elegant-looking hand sanitizers.
We had heard about the water bottle brand before (no bad things to say about it), but had never heard of Noshinku before.
I must say, we were very impressed with the sleek design of the hand sanitizers. The natural scents we loved even more!
Agile
This box, centered around fitness and wellness, consisted of three items as well:
- Tangram Rookie Smart Jump Rope – Retail Value: $40
- FACESOFT Sweat Towel – Retail Value: $19
- Hustle Clean Body Wipe, 10 count – Retail Value: $10
- Total Retail Value: $69
The jump rope was a really cool product because it connects to a mobile app via Bluetooth to tell you about your jump rope session, keeping track of all your workout data including jump count, calories burned, and time spent jumping.
My partner is all about fitness and cardio health these days, so this was a very practical item that he appreciated a lot.
Next up is the towel, the cloud-like towel that beats all gym towels ever! And not only did we find it soft like a cloud, but it was also extremely absorbent and fast-drying. Needless to say, the towel is going to be replacing the t-shirt for all future forehead sweat dabs.
I personally really liked both of these boxes because they allowed us to discover a bunch of new small businesses/brands that we otherwise would have never known about.
In addition, we were in desperate need of some upgrades in our lives, but being two busy individuals, we never really got around to replacing our old stuff. Because my partner now has his new sweat towel and water bottle, we were able to purge a few old water bottles and raggedy pieces of cloth that we brought to the gym with us!
His life just got a little more elevated!
Bespoke Post: Pros and Cons

- There are multiple themed boxes per month, choose the one that aligns with your interests.
- The option to skip months or use your subscription credit to buy individual items from the Bespoke Post shop means you have a lot of flexibility.
- You can skip as many times as you want, so you’ll never end up with something you don’t want.
- A great subscription for all kinds of people, even minimalists!
- As a member, you get exclusive pricing on shop products.
CONS
- The cost of the subscription can be seen as pricier than other subscriptions on the market.
- Based on the retail value of boxes, the non-member pricing may not be worth it. Member pricing is definitely a better option.

Who Is Bespoke Post For?
The items offered by Bespoke Post appeal to a wide range of people, particularly men who are interested in discovering new and unique products. The boxes are themed around different interests, such as grooming, home goods, and outdoor gear, so there’s truly something for everyone.
Having said that, even as a woman, I found a lot of the products to be desirable as well! A lot of the products are unisex, meaning they can be used and appreciated by all types of adult humans.
I think one of Bespoke Post’s most standout qualities compared to many other lifestyle subscription boxes out there is the fact that they actively work on sorting through all the bad stuff to find diamonds in the rough for their subscribers.
Nearly every product has been meticulously quality tested by the company. If it doesn’t make the cut, it doesn’t make it on their site.
In addition to everything being top-notch quality, the fact that subscribers only get about 1-3 items in each box means that it’s great for even the most minimalist of people.
If you’ve ever subscribed to other lifestyle boxes, you know exactly what I mean–you’ll end up with a stockpile of things you don’t want and even worse, things you can’t even regift because of how useless and random they are!
With the simplicity of Bespoke Post, this is not an issue at all. You have full choice over what items get shipped to you each month.
Is A Bespoke Post Membership Worth It?
After my experience with two Bespoke Post boxes, my conclusion is that Bespoke Post is worth the money if you are in the market for new high-quality goods. If you like stuff, this is some of the best stuff you can get in a “subscription box”.
Overall, Bespoke Post is a great membership subscription for people who enjoy discovering new products and are willing to pay a set monthly fee for a curated selection of high-quality items.
By far the biggest selling point of becoming a member is the fact that you’ll get members-only pricing, which drops the price of monthly boxes from $70 to $49.
However, it’s important to keep in mind that the boxes are curated, so the items included may not be to everyone’s taste, and you may not always like the selection of boxes offered for the month. But since they offer SO many types of boxes on any given month, it’s so easy to pick a box that you think you could regift!
Birthdays and special events take place all the time. If there’s a month where none of the products speak to you, you could easily choose a box to gift to someone else that’d be interested in it. All the products are tasteful and from reputable small business brands, so their regift values are high!
As for whether or not Bespoke Post is worth the money, that ultimately depends on your personal preferences and needs.
If you’re a minimalist that functions on very little in life, you may have a harder time choosing something that fits your minimalist style each and every month. But if you love the idea of elevating your life and replacing the old with the new, you might have a way harder time choosing just one box!
No matter what type of box you choose, the great thing is that all boxes contain unique and high-quality items that someone on the Bespoke Post team intentionally hand-selected.
I don’t know about you, but that gives me so much assurance that what I’m getting each month is going to be worth the money.

Not interested in becoming a member but like something on the site? You can always make one-time gift purchases in the Bespoke Post Store. You don’t have to be a member to shop!
Is Bespoke Post Legit?
Bespoke Post is a legitimate subscription service that has been in operation for over a decade. They have a well-established online presence and a pretty hefty membership base, and many other customers have reported positive experiences with the service!
Each of the boxes contains products from up-and-coming brands or brands that I’ve recognized from browsing higher-end indie/designer stores in the past. So if you have fears about getting random junk in these boxes, that is not the case!
If you’re open to exploring lesser-known brands and supporting small businesses, Bespoke Post is a great membership to be a part of.
Bespoke Post Alternatives
Bespoke Post vs GQ Box
Bespoke Post and GQ Box are both men’s subscription boxes that offer a curated selection of products. Bespoke Post specializes in men’s lifestyle products and accessories, while GQ Box focuses more on men’s grooming and fashion items.
Bespoke Post offers boxes on a monthly basis, while GQ Box is on a quarterly schedule. Another difference is that Bespoke Post allows you to choose the exact contents of your box, whereas GQ Box does not.
If you want to be intentional about what you receive on a monthly basis, Bespoke Post is the better option. The GQ Box is best for guys who only want to receive a subscription box four times per year and want to be surprised with what they get.
My partner has tried both boxes and prefers Bespoke Post due to the fact that you can’t customize the GQ Box, you’re bound to end up with a few useless items that’ll end up cluttering the house.
Bespoke Post vs The Nomadik
Bespoke Post and The Nomadik are both subscription boxes more geared toward men, but they offer different types of products. While Bespoke Post specializes in men’s lifestyle products, The Nomadik focuses on outdoor gear and adventure-related items.
The Nomadik offers a monthly subscription service ($35) and a quarterly subscription service ($150), while Bespoke Post only offers a monthly subscription service. Both companies allow subscribers to preview and select the contents of their boxes.
If you’re looking for more of a focus on outdoor gear with every box you get, Nomadik would be the better choice.
Bespoke Post vs The Gentleman’s Box
The Gentleman’s Box delivers high-end grooming, style, and fashion essentials for men. Each box contains around 4-6 men’s fashion items, with each box costing $35.
If you subscribe for longer, the box cost drops to as low as $26 per month. Subscription options are available for monthly, quarterly, bi-annual, and annual plans.
The main difference between Bespoke Post and The Gentleman’s Box is the focus of the products. While you can expect a wide range of products like food items, home goods, clothing, and grooming items with Bespoke Post, The Gentleman’s Box focuses more on fashion and style for men.
All in all, the main difference is that Bespoke Post has a broader range of products while The Gentleman’s Box is more focused on fashion and style.
