8 Best Disneyland Hotels With Free Breakfasts (That Don’t Suck)

Getting away this holiday season to sunny Southern California? Hands-down, one of the most popular reasons to visit SoCal is to visit Disneyland!

Disneyland is already the happiest place on earth, but do you know what could make your entire experience even better? Free breakfast at your hotel! That’s right, there are a select few hotels near Disneyland that offer free breakfast for guests.

After doing hours of research looking for the best Disneyland hotels with free breakfast for my own trips over the years, I’ve drilled it down to the best of the best. Not only do these hotels offer free, delightfully balanced breakfasts that’ll save you loads of money during your vacation, but they’re also all within walking distance from the parks!

So without further ado, here are the best hotels with free breakfast near Disneyland!

Hint hint: our top choice if you’ve got the budget for it is Element Anaheim Resort Convention Center — in our opinion, their free breakfast is by far the best in almost all of Anaheim!

And if Mickey-shaped waffles are a must, go with either Residence Inn by Marriott at Anaheim Resort Convention Center OR Cambria Hotel Anaheim Resort Area. They both have them!

8 Best Disneyland Hotels With Free Breakfast

Element Anaheim Resort Convention Center

Distance from Disneyland park entrance: 0.9 miles / 17-minute walk

Distance from Disneyland parking lot: 5-minute drive

While Element Anaheim is one of the pricier hotels on this list (depending on when during the year you’re staying), their free breakfast is by far the best and healthiest in almost all of Anaheim. I’ve personally stayed here before and I’ll definitely stay here again for future Disneyland trips!

Element Anaheim Resort Convention Center is an extended stay-style hotel that offers amazingly modern and spacious rooms, plus free bikes, private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness center. It’s an amazing hotel experience because it’s a hotel branch of Westin!

As a guest of this hotel, you can relax in either spacious studios, one-bedroom suites with separate living and sleeping areas, or even family suites with bunk beds for the kiddos. In the rooms, you’ll find fully equipped kitchens ready for you to use anytime.

Since it’s a hotel geared towards Disneyland vacationers, you’ll primarily find 2 queen beds in the suites — so please note that there are no king beds offered here.

Despite the lack of king sized beds, Element Anaheim Resort Convention Center is the perfect choice for park-goers/families looking for an elevated stay (with an even more elevated free breakfast!).

For breakfast, you can expect fresh ingredients and breakfast highlights such as frittatas, scrambled eggs (with egg white option as well), DIY breakfast tacos, cooked vegetables, fresh fruit paired with yogurt, cereals, breads, and more.

During the course of the two nights I stayed here, there were some differences between breakfast options available — great for people who like variety! On the first morning, there were turkey sausage patties, waffles, and watermelon. And on the second morning, there were chicken sausages, pancakes, and fresh pineapple instead.

The hotel features suites with separate living and sleeping areas, as well as fully equipped kitchens. Guests can also enjoy the hotel’s outdoor pool, fitness center, and complimentary breakfast buffet.

The breakfast spread here is easily one of my top favorite free breakfast hotels near Disneyland. They offer lots of hot food so that you’re able to get a truly balanced breakfast as opposed to just loading up on carbs and crashing with hunger midday.

Extra points for the Residence Inn because they offer cute little Mickey-shaped waffles!

Cambria Hotel Anaheim Resort Area

For another awesome hotel offering free hot breakfast (yes, with Mickey-shaped waffles), go with Cambria Hotel Anaheim Resort Area. This is a relatively new hotel which is a huge plus–it’s so clean and so modern. We stayed here on our most recent trip to Anaheim and loved our stay.

I’d highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay near Disneyland! The rooms are spacious and include all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. There are rooms with king beds, 2 queen beds, and even bunk beds for the little ones.

And if you’re traveling with kids, the onsite water park is going to be the icing on the cake!

The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast buffet is delicious. Adults will love the spread of hot foods and fresh fruits, while the kids will be obsessed with the Mickey-shaped waffles. In fact, this is my partner’s #1 favorite hotel when it comes to Disneyland hotels with complimentary breakfasts!

And if you’re a tater tot fan like me, this is going to be the hotel for you!

Ultimately, it does the trick if you’re looking for an affordable Disneyland hotel with a pretty good free breakfast!

In terms of this hotel’s free breakfast, you can expect all the ingredients to make yourself an egg-based breakfast bowl (eggs, cheese, hot sauce, salsa, fresh spinach, etc.) and egg/sausage English muffins. There are yogurt and fruit options, a waffle maker, as well as all the carbs you could ask for (bread, mini muffins, bagels, cereals).

Guests can enjoy a mix of refreshments including orange juice, apple juice, coffee, and tea.

Need to do some laundry? No problem – the on-site laundry room has got you covered. Looking to relax and unwind after a day of adventures? Take a dip in the pool and soak in the Southern California sunshine. There is even a basketball/volleyball court that you can play on when you have some downtime!

There is a resort fee of ~$35 per night here, but that fee covers free breakfast and free parking (parking typically costs around $25-30 per day at other hotels). For a family of 3 or more getting to enjoy a delicious complimentary breakfast every morning, I’d say that’s totally worth it!

Hotels Near Disneyland: Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How close are the hotels to Disneyland?

A: The distance between the hotels and Disneyland varies, but many of the featured hotels in this post are conveniently located within a short drive or walking distance to the park (mostly 8-15 minute walk). An 8-15 minute walk is considered close enough to walk there on foot, and being this close means you’ll be able to save on costs from having to drive and park at the Disneyland parking lot!

Q: Do hotels near Disneyland offer shuttle services to Disneyland?

A: While many hotels used to provide free shuttle service to/from the park, those are mostly a thing of the past. Having said that many of the hotels in our post are serviced by Anaheim Resort Transit (ART).

The ART City Shuttle picks up from various hotels and drops off at the main gates of Disneyland. Adult prices are $6.00 per day and children ages 3-9 are $2.50 for the day. It runs every 15 minutes. Shuttle tickets can be purchased at the front desk of the hotels.

Q: What amenities do the hotels near Disneyland offer for families with kids?

A: Hotels near Disneyland understand the importance of family-friendly amenities. You’ll find a range of offerings such as pools, play areas, game rooms, and even special activities designed to keep kids entertained and engaged during your stay. If that’s not enough, check out these 40+ other things to do in Anaheim to keep kids entertained!

Q: Is there parking available at hotels near Disneyland?

A: Yes, parking is available at most of the hotels near Disneyland. Very few hotels offer complimentary parking (though they do exist), while many may have a daily parking fee. Check the specific hotel’s amenities section for details on parking options. We love using Booking.com to check for the exact parking fees charged by each hotel.

Q: Are the hotels within walking distance of other attractions or restaurants?

A: Absolutely! Many of the hotels near Disneyland are situated in areas with a variety of dining options and attractions beyond Disneyland. You’ll have the opportunity to explore nearby entertainment, shopping, and dining venues to make the most of your stay. Anaheim Gardenwalk is a hotspot of fun outside of the park!
