What Is The Go City Hong Kong Attraction Pass?
This easy-to-use mobile attraction pass can really help you see a lot of Hong Kong’s best attractions in a really short amount of time, and it can help you save a ton of money while doing so!
The Go City Hong Kong Pass is a digital attraction pass that provides easy access and admission to some of HK’s most popular museums and excursions. With certain excursions, you’re even able to skip the line, saving you both money and time.
There are two types of passes–the All-Inclusive Pass and the Explorer Pass.
All-Inclusive Pass
The Go City All-Inclusive Pass is really great for travelers who want to see as much as possible while they’re in Hong Kong. With the All-Inclusive Pass, you can choose between a 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 or 7-day pass that will give you free admission to 20+ museums and attractions throughout the city.

Prices start at HK$1549 (~ $199 USD) for the adult admission 2-day All-Inclusive Pass and you can visit literally as many attractions as you can fit into each day!
If you opt for more consecutive days on your pass, the pass actually gets cheaper on a per-day basis (the 7-day pass is the best deal).
Explorer Pass
If you don’t plan on visiting a ton of different attractions, Go City also has an Explorer Pass which will still save you a lot of money. With the Explorer Pass, you’ll pay one flat fee for a 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7-choice pass.
The Explorer Pass is best for ticking off a few of your must-sees!
You’ll then have 60 days to use the Explorer Pass on whichever attractions you’d like. There is also no need to pick attractions ahead of time, so you’ll have the flexibility to choose attractions as you go.
Passes start at HK$949 (~ $122 USD) for 3 choices. But similar to the All-Inclusive option, the more choices you opt for, the cheaper it costs per activity!

What Is The Klook Pass Hong Kong?
The Klook Pass Hong Kong is another tourist pass, exclusively sold by Klook, that gives you access to 15+ attractions and experiences in Hong Kong at a discounted price. It works by allowing travelers to pre-purchase a set number of attractions or experiences they want to visit before arriving in Hong Kong.
At the time of writing, you can opt for a 2, 3, 4, or 5-activity pass either with or without premium attractions (such as Hong Kong Disneyland or Ocean Park).
The Klook Pass Hong Kong includes the following attractions*
- Hong Kong Disneyland Resort – premium attraction
- Ocean Park Hong Kong – premium attraction
- Hong Kong Airport Express
- Sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck
- Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car
- Noah’s Ark

- ARTE M Hong Kong

To activate the pass, you’ll just reserve the first activity on the Klook app or website within your Pass’ activation validity period. Once your Pass is activated, you can reserve rest of the activities anytime within your Pass’ usage validity period.
Once you arrive at the attractions, you can simply present your pass to gain entry! Easy peasy.
Prices start at $49 USD for a 2-choice pass and goes up to ~$123 USD for a 5-choice pass, if you opt out of the premium attractions. If you want to include premium attractions like Disneyland or Ocean Park to your Klook Pass, the price will increase quite a bit.
To determine the final price you’ll pay, it’s best you go onto the Klook website and select the exact number of attractions you want and note whether or not you want any of the premium offerings.
The Klook Pass Hong Kong benefits travelers in several ways:
- It helps you save money by offering discounts on the regular admission prices for each attraction or experience
- It saves you time by allowing you to skip the ticket lines at each attraction or experience
- It offers flexibility by allowing you to choose exactly which attractions or experiences you want to visit

Go City Hong Kong vs Klook Pass Hong Kong: Which Is Better?
Similarities: Activities and Excursions
The similarities between the two lists are that they both include these big, popular attractions:
- Ocean Park
- Ngong Ping 360 Cable Car
- Sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck
- Noah’s Ark
Differences: Activities and Excursions
One of the main differences between the two attraction passes is the fact that the Go City Hong Kong Pass includes a lot more attractions you can choose from, including some unique experiences such as:
- Big Bus Hop-On Hop-Off Sightseeing Tour
- Enjoying a Peking duck meal
- Chinese Ink Painting Class
- Sampan and Houseboat Tour
- Traditional Egg Tart Class
Now let’s look at what the Klook Pass Hong Kong has that Go City doesn’t have. The Klook Pass offers some really iconic attractions such as the Aqua Luna Victoria Harbour Cruise, which is NOT included in the Go City Hong Kong Pass.
The Klook Pass also includes the option to use one “activity” on the Hong Kong Airport Express, which is one of the most convenient ways to get from the airport to the city center.
Differences: Cost
Comparing price is a bit tougher because what you’ll pay will really be dependent on what attractions you commit to.
Let’s say you’re not interested in either Disneyland or Ocean Park. In this case, we can do an apples-to-apples cost comparison of the Go City Explorer Pass to the Klook Pass Hong Kong.

Off bat, you can see that if you skip Disneyland and Ocean Park, the Klook Pass is actually a better deal.
Keep in mind that while it IS a better deal, you are a bit more limited on the excursions you can choose from. The Klook Pass includes ~15 activities while the Go City passes include ~25 activities. Do review the activities included in the pass to make sure it includes all the activities you’d want to do!
If you find that you’re more drawn to the activities offered by the Go City passes, then forking up a few extra bucks for the Go City passes may be worth the money.
And don’t forget, with the Go City Explorer attraction passes, the price-per-activity actually drops the more activities you purchase. (Ex: with the 3-choice pass, each activity costs ~$35 USD … but with the 7-choice pass, each activity costs ~$31 USD.)

So how does the pass’ values change if you want Disneyland or Ocean Park?
If Hong Kong Disneyland is a must…
Opt for the Klook Pass. Go City doesn’t offer Disneyland as an included activity anymore. Easy decision.
If Ocean Park is a must…
This gets a bit more complicated. The best thing you can do is compare the prices of Go City All-Inclusive Pass (you can choose from 2 to 7 days of unlimited activities) to the Klook Pass (with the premium add-on of Ocean Park).
If Ocean Park AND Hong Kong Disneyland are both a must…
Currently, the Klook Pass does not offer a version where you can get both Disneyland and Ocean Park in one attraction pass.
You may want to consider just grabbing yourself a Klook Pass OR a 2-Day Go City All-Inclusive Pass (so you have access to Ocean Park) and just buying Hong Kong Disneyland tickets separately.
Final Thoughts
Everyone’s travel preferences and interests are different, so it’s really hard to recommend one over the other without knowing what YOU specifically enjoy doing when exploring a new city.
Personally speaking, I’m more interested in all the walking tours and eating activities offered in the Go City Hong Kong passes, but I also love the fact that the Klook Pass HK comes with Aqua Luna Victoria Harbour Cruise!
See, it’s even tough for me to choose one over the other for myself!
It really comes down to sitting down with your family/friends and discussing what you all want to do, then opting for the attraction pass that best covers all your must-do activities.
Either way, both passes aim to help you save money compared to buying admission to attractions separately. Both WILL help you save money on your travels!
