Bars. Bikes. Canals. Windmills. Tulips. Druggie mayhem. These are some of the things you can find on any given day in Amsterdam. It’s seriously one of the most unique and picturesque cities in Europe! This city has loads of natural beauty, cultural attractions, and good quirky vibes. From picturesque canals to countryside windmills, high-end lifestyle boutiques to hip flea markets, and smoke shops to “head” shops– Amsterdam really offers something for everyone. I’ll never get tired of all the large green spaces, farmer’s markets and psycho cyclers zooming down the streets. Plus, people watching with a whole bag of stroopwafel in hand is just so much fun. Hoping these photos from my last trip will inspire you to visit sometime soon!
My favorite neighborhood remains Jordaan– just imagine florals and greens snuggled onto apartment walls, cute boutique shops, quaint intimate restaurants, cozy pubs, and of course, canals! If you’re looking for a hip neighborhood to stay in, go with Jordaan. It’s worth the splurge.
